Our Future! Is on the Right Path?

The world’s getting intolerant and becoming a dangerous place to live in! War, genocide, torture everywhere we look, the news channels headlines are “air strikes kill 10 people including children”, we as a species are hell bent on annihilating ourselves and I don’t know why that’s happening, countries start wars for territory, people are murdered in the name if religion! As a species we’ve evolved and have a great deal of intelligence on what’s going to happen if we continue the ruthless killings, we’re aiming for the stars, interstellar travel and we aim to avoid extinction but by recent events I’m not sure if we’ll survive survive extinction, any intelligent species after us would name our extinction “Greed - The fall of Humanity”!
Why can’t we make a pact and learn to live in peace, greed certainly can be defeated, we just need to look deeper into ourselves and bring out the hidden empathic nature!

ReplyDeleteVarun, your twin daughters are lucky to have a dad who thinks about the future of the earth and advocates peace. I totally support your views on territory and religion and the need to live in harmony and contentment. I don't know what books you like to read but I do wish you the very best in your efforts to become an author.
