'When Things Fall Apart' by Srinesh Bhowmik

When Things Fall Apart  by Srinesh Bhowmick Some of you may remember Srinesh Bhowmick as the author of that beautiful poem, 'Emeralds and Diamonds'. Srinesh is a student of Class 10 at the Brindavan Education Society in Bengaluru. Here, he shares another meaningful poem with us.    When Things Fall Apart I’m sorry for the hurt I’ve caused For breaking trust without a pause. My actions wounded, cut so deep, Leaving scars that make you weep. I wish I could rewind the time, Erase the pain, make things right, sublime. But words alone cannot undo The damage done, the trust I blew. I’ll strive to be the friend you once knew, Whose loyalty was pure, whose heart was true. With every step I’ll prove my change, In hope our bond can rearrange. Though shadows linger dark and vast, Together we can move the past. For every tear, a vow I’ll make, To learn, to grow, for friendship’s sake. ...   Click to read our interview with Srinesh.

'Diamonds and Emeralds' by Srinesh Bhowmik

Diamonds and Emeralds   by Srinesh Bhowmik     In search of diamonds, I wandered far, Through realms of shine, beneath night's star, Yet midst those gleams, a truth unfurled, I forgot the worth of emeralds, in your world.   For emeralds, rare, in their verdant hue, Hold depths of beauty, eternal and true, Like your eyes that shimmer, in gentle grace, My heart finds solace, in your embrace.   Diamonds may dazzle, with their radiant light, But it's emeralds' calm, that soothes the night, And in your presence, I've come to see, The treasure I sought, was always thee.   So forgive my folly, my search misplaced, For in your love, all gems are embraced, You're the emerald rare, in life's grand design, My precious gem, forever mine.  ...
